Robert William Ledbetter

Robert William Ledbetter, 39 years, passed away on October 14, 2016 in Chandler, Arizona. Funeral Services will be from 6pm to 8pm at Legacy Funeral Home located at 1374 N. Arizona Ave., Chandler, Arizona, 85225. Robert William Ledbetter was born in Fort Lewis, Washington to Clyde Henry Ledbetter and Zoica Josephine Mansour on June 15, 1977. He had lived abroad in Germany and spent his summers in Istanbul, Turkey prior to his father retiring from the military in 1984 at which time lived in Florence, Arizona prior to the move to Chandler, Arizona. He went to school at Hartford Elementary, Anderson Middle School and Chandler High School. He became engaged to Angelica Martinez on December 25, 2005 and spent 22 years together. Robert William Ledbetter was one of a kind. He was a son, brother, uncle and much more. He was a friend to everyone and would always help them when they needed it. He had a heart of gold and was always filled with compassion for others. He loved anything to do with history and loved to share what he learned. He was always so animated with his story telling and could make you laugh. He was really good at that. He really was unique and could always find something in nothing. Another man's junk was another man's treasure. We have our photos and our memories of him that we will hold onto forever. Robert is going to be missed so much but knowing how much love he gave to all of us will keep us going. Robert William Ledbetter was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ralph and Dorothea Ledbetter and Francesco and Marika Mansour. By his uncles, Yani Mansour, Gale Ledbetter and William Ledbetter. Robert William Ledbetter is survived by his fiancé Angelica Martinez, his parents Clyde and Zoica Ledbetter, his sister Aida Lee Hust, his brother in law Marty Hust, his niece Marika Hust, his nephew Dominic Hust and by his aunts, uncles and cousins. The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to anyone involved in Robert William Ledbetter's life.
