James Craig Kidle

James C. Kidle was called home to heaven on Wednesday January 25, 2017 while surrounded by his loving family. He was born September 28, 1937 to Walter and Marguerite Kidle in Detroit, MI and spent most of his life growing up in Royal Oak, MI. He later joined the Army in 1955 where his path crossed with that of his loving wife of 60 years; Eleanor Kidle (Scarelli). They were married on October 28, 1956 and were blessed with 4 daughters: Karen (Richard) Sondelski, Pam (Steve) Shade, Jo Anne (Mike) Quatrale and Jamie (Scott) Brown. He is survived by 11 grandchildren: James, Jennifer, Scottie, Chris, Michelle, Jeremy, Stephen, Joshua, Ashley, Tim and Elizabeth as well as 9 great grandchildren. He is further survived by his brother Robert (Dolores) Kidle, Sisters: Nancy (Ted) Holloway and Christine (Jim) Blum; as well as many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister Jane Parks, father Walter Kidle and mother Marguerite Kidle. After retiring from the Army in 1976, James moved his family to Mesa, AZ where he went to work for Mesa Public Schools. After working in the distribution warehouse and as a safety inspector, he retired from there. He enjoyed spending his retirement golfing with friends, being active in Christians in Commerce and his church as well as enjoying time with his loving family. The family would like to thank all those who have offered their prayers and support during this difficult time. It is obvious how much of an impact he had on those around him, as well as how much he was loved. We find peace in knowing he is now at rest with our Savior Jesus Christ.
